Welcome to the College of Education, Health and Human Services (EHHS). The College prepares students for the challenges of the 21st Century by offering programs that emphasize lifelong learning, multicultural perspectives, research-based best practices and technologies that enhance learning.

EHHS's 32 academic programs prepare well-rounded and demonstrably competent professionals for work in:

  • school
  • higher education
  • health
  • human service
  • human development settings

Undergraduate and graduate curricula reflect a commitment to enhancing the education, health and environment of individuals, families and communities representing a broad range of diverse characteristics.

EHHS embraces the University's commitment to the continuous improvement accreditation model - Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) - advanced by the North Central Association's Higher Learning Commission. Accordingly, the EHHS's six academic units pursue action projects guided by the University's Academic Quality Improvement Plan.

All EHHS academic programs are fully accredited by the appropriate agencies and learned societies. The College serves as one of the s tate's recommending agencies for licensure to teach in Ohio and is the lead College in KSU's Professional Education Unit. This multi-college unit is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and includes all programs at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral level that prepare education, health and human service professionals.
